Creating SM Inspections in the QC One Inspector app

Updated over 2 weeks ago

When a customer starts using the Product Specification Manager, the Specification module is activated in the QC One Inspector app. Once enabled, users can choose whether they want to create local inspections in the standard format or in the specification format. The specification format allows inspections to be directly linked to agreed product specifications, ensuring consistent quality checks based on predefined standards.

Follow the step-by-step instructions below to create an inspection in the specification format. These steps will guide you through selecting the relevant specification, filling in the inspection details, and completing the process so that your inspection is properly recorded and aligned with your chosen quality criteria.

Step-by-step plan

1. Add an inspection

2. Enter the relevant inspection data and press on Add

3. A modal will ask whether you wish to create a standard inspection or a Specification. Choose Specification.

4. Add units

5. Select a category that you wish to inspect

6. Select a product within that variety

7. You will see a list of specifications that apply for the selected category and product. Select the most relevant one.

8.The specification will open
