Problem
When a user logs in via SSO (e.g., Microsoft Entra/Azure AD, SAML) and then another person tries to log in on the same device/browser with different credentials, the previous SSO session may persist. This can cause:
The new user being automatically logged in as the previous user.
SSO login screens skipping credential entry.
Access or authorization issues.
This is due to browser cache and SSO session cookies not being cleared.
Solution: Log out of QC One AND Clear Browser Cache/ SSO Session
For Portal (Web Browser)
Log out of QC One Portal
Click your profile icon (right top corner)
Select “Log out.”
Log out from from Microsoft (as you might be still logged in)
Open a (new) browser window
Go to https://login.microsoftonline.com or My Account.
If logged in, please log out to fully clear the SSO session.
Clear Browser Cache according reference below
Close all browser tabs/windows with QC One open.
Try logging in again
For QC One Inspector App (In-App Browser SSO)
Log out via the app settings.
Try logging again. If the app still logs in with the previous SSO user:
Force close the app.
Clear app data/storage (if possible):
On iOS: Delete and reinstall the app
On Android: Go to Settings > Apps > QC One > Storage > Clear Data.
Clear Browser Cache according reference below
Reopen the app and log in with the new SSO user.

Additional Notes
SSO session persistence is a known limitation when using shared devices or browsers.
For privacy and security, always log out and clear cache/cookies before handing over a device to another user.
Troubleshooting
Still seeing the previous user?
Try a private/incognito window for the new login.
Ensure all browser windows are closed after clearing cache.
On shared iPads or kiosk devices, a full device restart may be required.
App still remembers old user after logout?
Uninstall and reinstall the app to clear all local data.
